A Case of the Mondays: Take Three.

Hello Monday. This is becoming a cherished tradition in my life. I really do love complaining. Something to talk to God about? Probably. But it's Monday.

1) 8:00am preaching class. This morning one of the guys preaching this morning [Side note, this wasn't just any Moody preaching guy. He's everything typical about a Moody but super intensified in the quirky category. Like Polo's tucked in and ESV translation only. Anyway...] was preaching on 1 Kings something-about-Elijah. His sermon was great, his exegesis fantastic. And his application, you ask? Oh, it was to single girls on campus to stop waiting for the Saul's - those a head above the rest - and look for a David - the shepherd boys with a heart after God's. And yes. I'm the only girl in the class. Eye contact with a slight smile. The whole time. Awesome.

2) Washed my new blue shirt with my white ones. I don't mind light blue socks and tank tops, but I was washing Abby's white shirt, too. Let's hope she looks good in light blue?

3) Dead daffodils stink up a room, man.

4) Spilled all over my AIM psychology exam papers. I wonder what that says about the organization of my life? I can see it now: "Insane or not, Stan?" "Well, according to my evaluation she's borderline skitzo. And did you see those spots? What does that even mean?" "I don't know, but let's not risk it." = REJECTION.

5) Offered a free ticket to opening season game of the Sox. But I had to babysit.

6) While babysitting, the three year old put the one year old in a head lock.

7) I tried for an hour to turn the TV on so the three year old could watch her usual, Dora.

8) By the time I got the TV figured out, Dora was over.

9) While I was consoling the three year old after she realized she missed her fav, I lost the one year old.

10) I found the one year old eating cat food.

Happy Monday, all. :)
