Gilbaughs are a Gift.

This past weekend I brought a group of girls from my floor home to IA. Ten nine northers collided with nine of the Gilbaugh clan. Two worlds under one roof; two of my life spheres around one dinner table. It was wonderful

Here's what I'm coming away with: my family is a gift I can share with people.

Many of my girls come from broken homes or broken lives or broken presents. And my family, broken as we may be, can give the gift of life and love and good food. I've tried with many of girls for a long time to get them to be vulnerable and to resort back to their childhood days of innocence and play, and Caleb accomplished in 2 minutes and 13 seconds what I have failed for over a year to do. My family is a gift.
