No Jury in This Courtroom.

The weekend is now passed. And this Tuesday morning seems so early and so sudden.

There's a long to-do list, many one-on-ones, and this iCal I still can't figure out. There's shopping to be done, homework to finish, and classes to attend. There are emails and phone calls and texts and facebook messages to keep up with. There are checks to cash, bills to bay, errands to run.

And then there's You.

You in my waiting, You in my longing. You.

You're holistically different, wholly other, holy. I see no jury in this courtroom. I notice to witnesses stand or defense attorney. Just You. On Your great throne. The Ultimate Judge, Supreme Authority.

And there is no condemnation for me here.

The lists may fall through the cracks. The meetings may be missed. The homework may not get done. And yet You will not condemn me. Not today. Not ever.

Before You, my Judge, I stand complete and completely free. Thank You, Jesus.
