Life's been really lonely lately. I know I've written a bit about it, but yesterday felt particularly so.

This morning I prayed for friends. A humbling request, to say the least. It's embarrassing to write even now.

Sent me home from work at noon. Gave me coffee with an old mentor and friend. Shot me a test from one of my besties who lives in IN now asking what I was doing tonight because she was hitting the city this weekend. Gave me a dear friend from MI who is here with her youth group for a camp, and others from IA who I know love me well. Tomorrow my sister is coming into town. And I just know He's proving He loves me.

Yes, life's been lonely. But God…
