And I'm done! Summer is finally here for me! Not that you would know it by the 30 degrees and rainy weather outside, but not even that can dampen my spirits. It's summer, and I'm feeling rather dreamy about what the next sunny months will hold.

I'm giddy over wearing summer fashion - bright colors, bold patters, some aztec prints, fun jewelry, and daring hair styles. I'm going to wear dresses and be girly and then put on some cut offs and go hiking in the woods.

I want to make yummy summer foods and share them with my friends. I want picnics and grilling out and new recipes. I want to flavor this summer with figs and cheese and chocolate and wine (sigh, heartthrob).

I'm hopeful to plant in a plot of the community garden. I want to grow something green and nurture some small seed.

I'm dreamy over getting my craft on - there's a quilt I want to make, some photography projects to complete, and writing to be done. I want to paint something this summer. Just one thing. And I want to hang it in my room.

I'm going to go to new places. Okay, so they'll be State-side, but I can handle that. We're taking road trips and seeing cities and I can't wait to hear those sweet words: "Shoot man, we're lost…"

Sigh … yes, summer, you're finally here. I know I have idealized you in every way… but that's okay. Because I'm a dreamer.
