Lonely and yet Full.

It's snowing outside. Did you know that? It's coming down in big flakes, leisurely at first glance, but held up to the light their ferocity is revealed.

It's nine twenty-seven. I'm ready for bed and a bit embarrassed about it. Wait, see the snow now? It's bolder, bigger, fiercer. There's a loneliness here tonight. But that's not all … a wonder, too. It's in the snow, its in the night, its in the sense that He is near. So near.

The snow is coming down in droves now. Certainly, the city will be white by morning.

Yes, this loneliness is no stranger to me, but there is something else, something less familiar. Something new … something good. I'm full. I'm so full. Because You are so near. I think this is what the oxymoron "bittersweet" was created for, moments like these.

The flakes are now teasing my window. Everything has been blanketed in white. And it's beautiful.
