Still Enough to Notice You.

Here, at the dawn, Your presence is undeniable.

As the sun peers over the already bustling city, there is tangible stillness and distinguishable peace. There is no doubt in me that I am before You - vulnerable and bare, cherished and accepted, delighted and raw.

In just a few hours I have no doubt that I will wave my hand in indifference, I will shrug my shoulders at Your presence, I will forget Your nearness altogether.

But not here.

Not at the dawn.

At the dawn, we are still enough to notice You - You in watchfulness and pursuit.
You in rending and healing.
You in peace and holy anger.
You in jealousy and love.

Rise on us this morning, create in us a dawning of a new day; a day in which we respond with joy and gratitude, in serenity and hopefulness, in remembrance and attentiveness.
