Dear [Lonely] Friend.

"Dear friend,

Loneliness, even lonely-ish-ness is not a fun thing.

But I know it well and know that it is a good thing. But I know you know that, and don't really need to be informed, but maybe reminded? Hmm.. I hope this doesn't come accross as belittleing, but remember that this is a season that reminds you that you were made for heaven, it is a season that can build your longing for our King and for your eternal union with our Savior.

In our opulent wealth, we're rarely ever hungry.

In our affluent culture, we're rarely ever want.

In our overpopulation of media, we're rarely ever bored.

In our abundance of religion, we're rarely ever given time to simply long for the Lord because we're always consume the newest six steps to holiness.

Loneliness is one of the only times when we're not satisfied. So be dissatisfied. Be alone. Long. Hunger. Thirst. For Him and His land where, and only where, you will be fulfilled.

Right now we are placated.

There, we will be fulfilled."
