Number Twelve.

Dear Mr. Gannett,

I know you were confused when I excitedly pulled over the car and told you to get out. I know it seemed a little crazy when I parked in a stranger's driveway, made you get out into the rain, and made you chase me across the street with no explanation. I know I probably seemed a little silly when I jumped up and down showing you the street sign I had just found, so thanks for getting giddy with me anyway.

Thanks for celebrating little discoveries with me, and for being the only one I want to go on adventures with.

Thanks for thinking it's cute when I jump and clap my hands, even though I look like I'm twelve.

Thanks for not being a grumpy pants when I forget that you needed to stop and eat lunch.

Thanks for being oober-involved in wedding planning and being much more cool about the whole stress thing that I am.

Thanks for appreciating both quality and getting a good deal.

Thanks for the way you love me when I'm tired and sassy and quite the debby downer.

Thanks for being willing to marry me in your living room in our pajamas (I still might take you up on that).

Thanks for waking up early to worship Jesus even when you have work early in the morning.

Thanks for asking me to marry you.

I cannot wait to be your Mrs. Gannett.

I love you, I do.

  1. Well said, Ms. Amy. Finding the man the Lord made just for you is beyond exciting. I'm so happy you've found what I like to call 'your favorite man'.

Always enjoy the little things with each other, even when your house is cluttered with duplo blocks and it seems like all of your money goes to diapers that get pooped in. These men of God that we're blessed with, they are amazing!

    I'm so excited for you!
